Rafiki goes
a step further
Rafiki is about more than what’s in the bottle.
It’s about the farmers who grow the food we eat; their families, their children, and their communities.
Too often, they disappear from the story.
We don’t think they should.
So we work to make sure the people behind the food are seen, supported, and part of the value they create.
Because better food should lead to better lives. Not just better margins.
This is our way of changing FOOD TRADE SYSTEMS.

What is the return policy?
Because this is food, we don’t do returns.
If something went wrong on our end, we’ll make it right and send you a replacement.
If you tried it and it’s simply not for you, that’s okay too — we’ll refund you.

How does the avo oil feel?
If there is one thing almost everyone mentions, its this:
It feels light, not greasy.
People often say it doesn’t sit heavy and doesn’t leave that oily coating feeling. Which is why it works so well as a finishing oil (and yes, even as small shots).
How does the avo oil taste?
Like avocado.
It has a naturally avocadoee-forward, clean flavour — not neutral, not blended, not deodorized.
Think fresh avocado juice from the juiciest avocados.
Where is the avo oil from?
We proudly source our avocados from the Embu and Ruiru regions of Kenya.
These regions are known for growing large, high-quality avocados and they’re also where we focus our farmer and community support.
Why is this a limited batch?
Our avocado oil is pressed once a year, in season, and we don’t store it indefinitely.
We press during the Kenyan avocado season (March–August) and sell each batch by season. That means:
- No old stock
- No year-round industrial pressing
- No constant replenishing at the cost of freshness
For example:
If it’s 2026, your oil was pressed in August 2025.
How long does the avo oil last?
Under normal storage conditions, it lasts up to 2 years from pressing.
You can extend that lifespan by:
- Keeping it in a cool, dark place
- Freezing it if you want to be extra careful
Freshness matters to us, and we’re transparent about it.
When will my order ship?
We ship orders once a week, every Friday.
This helps us stay small, fresh, and intentional with how we handle each batch.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is never more than $10 in Canada. If it is, we pay the difference.
The exact cost depends on where you live and how far you are from our dispatch location, but we keep it as low as possible.
How do I know where the tips go?
We believe in showing, not telling.
Whenever we make impact supporting farmers, families, or community projects — we share it openly.
You’ll see exactly what’s being done and who it’s reaching.
Instagram is always the first place we post updates, so that’s the best place to follow along.
Do you offer a subscription?
Not yet — but we’re working on it.
If a subscription is something you want, message us and let us know. The more people ask, the faster we prioritize it.
